Firstly I’d like to start with I booked this hotel for my parents who was attending a festival at the common. As you do I was in contact throughout there stay, from the moment they arrived they was so happy, first of all the hotel accommodated an early check in for my mum and dad, they said the room was better then they could of imagine for the price and location which was central and easy to find, Parked for 24 hours at the local multi story for £14. Went off track, back to the room which was spacious and modern fitted with all facilities you’d require. On one’s return from the concert to be surprised with a plate with some personalised chocolates with the surname of guests staying ( lovely) with a complimentary drinks coupon at the bar for two. Staff was polite and accommodating and very well organised and most certainly a credit to the lovely hotel. Rated they’re stay 10/10 and recommended me to book for myself one time ha Thank you very much for making my mum and dad so comfortable and the trip a pleasure; high five 🖐️

Lovely staff, couldn’t be more kind and accommodating. The check in staff and the bar staff were so lovely and especially sweet to our daughter. The hotel room was comfortable and clean, the room was great space and the beds were comfy. Also very handy to have space to unload car etc out the front and there are several car parks within 1-5 minutes walking distance. Also a 2 minute walk from the hotel is a beautiful park which was lovely to walk through to and back from the town centre. There is also a fab play park there. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning, lots of choice already and extra choices on request if needed!

The location is great as is very easy to reach the city center and the Red Ferry to travel to Isle of Wight. The room was good size for two adults and two kids on 5 and 8 years old. Comfy beds even the sofa bed was very comfortable. The bar had good choice of drinks and the kids menu was acceptable. Breakfast was great as we enjoyed every morning. Not to busy for end of May beginning of June. Good range of options on the buffet. Maybe just the toaster have to me fixed as toasted only from one side. We had a good time and will be definitely recommend and will stay again if we are at Southampton.

Hotel easy to get to from the central train station, about a 15 minute walk. Reception area nice an bright, with both the restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Room was a nice size with the usual amenities. Bathroom was ok, bath fitted was nice, but would have preferred a better quality walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was as expected, very wide selection of food catering for all tastes. In the evening I ate in the bar area, and the selection of bar food available was great, and the service was very quick

Paul

We added breakfast to our room reservation and were glad we did, it was delicious with a wide selection. The room was considerably larger than we expected or had gotten used to in our recent travels around the UK. We got a lovely surprise of some small cakes with a welcome note in our room, and some drink vouchers for the bar in the lobby. Beds were very comfortable. It seems like the hotel used to be run down but now has a nice facade and that management is making great efforts to turn it around.
